Reading Responses

All Reader Responses are the same. We read something from our textbook, research it and write about it. You have a thesis statement about a stance you are taking on the reading and you have research. You write a short 2-3 page essay and include your quotes and Works Cited page. This is what I am looking at. Research, MLA style, thesis, opening and closing. A Reader's Response without a Works Cited page would get half the points or less.

I'm totally confused and I guess I just don't understand. If all Reading Repsonses are the same... then why did we get a hand-out for Desiree's Baby and not for the other three poems we read? How are we suppose to respond to nothing?

This is Megan from your 9:00 am Eng II and you said you would give me until Friday to turn my Essay 1 in. I feel, that in order for my essay to be well written rather than thrown together, I need a little more time. Perhaps I can turn it into you on Monday? I know this is asking a lot, but I don't feel like my essay is quite ready. Please post me a blog or e-mail me at mdryan2006@yahoo.com as soon as you can.
Thank you.
